Cover up Dark Circles

Don’t dark patches under the eye look terrible?   The dullness just dribbles down from the eyes and spreads to the rest of your face too. You look exhausted and tired all the time. And that is certainly not how anybody wants to look ever!

There are many ways to hide those dark circles but most times we lack knowledge on how! Using the wrong products can highlight your problem even further. You need the right products used in the right way to cover up those dark circles without ending up with a cakey look. Here is how you can get the concealing right.

First Step:
Wash your face with a gentle face wash or cleanser. If you have very oily skin choose a cleanser that will keep your skin oil free for a longer period of time.

Second Step:
Use a good moisturizer that caters to your skin’s needs and moisturizes the skin well. Apply gently; do not rub it into your skin.

Third Step:
It’s best to choose a concealer that is one shade lighter than your natural skin shade. Also choose wisely between the cream and stick concealer. Cream ones tend to be a bit more moisturizing than the stick ones, so for those with dry skin the liquid or cream ones are a better choice.

Forth Step:
Place the product as little dots under the eye especially in the portion where the dark circles are most prominent and pat gently using the ring finger. This finger is ideal to use at delicate places as it can apply the least amount of pressure. If you will be applying foundation on top then use a lesser quantity of this product as the foundation will provide a bit of coverage too. If you are not using foundation, then go ahead and use a normal amount of concealer. If you like stick concealer, then apply some under the eyes and use a brush or fingers to blend it in.

Fifth Step:
Use your foundation over the concealer or use setting powder to set the concealer.
